The Forestville Central School District continues to search for ways to increase educational services for our children. This includes exploring options for our youngest students. Research suggests that children who attend pre-K programs have greater success in school than children who do not attend pre-K programs. Over the past six years, the Forestville Central School District has offered a pre-k program for our school community's 4-year-old children. Mainly due to the efforts of our pre-k teachers, we are proud to say that the program has been an enormous success.
Funded in large part by the New York State Universal Pre-Kindergarten grant program, the Forestville Elementary School would like to continue this program for the current school year. All interested Forestville students who will be 4 years of age on or before December 1st of the current school year will be considered for the program.
