As a service to the Forestville school community we are sharing the following information which has been provided by the NYS Youth Bureau: The shooting tragedy in Newton, Connecticut has deeply affected our country. Such incidents of mass violence can lead to emotional distress. Children are particularly vulnerable to such events, especially when the victims of the violence were children. When such events occur, it can be difficult for parents and teachers to know how to help kids understand and cope with the situation. (for more click on the Hands)
