Message from the Superintendent — Fall 2026

Dear Forestville Community,

It is hard to believe that another school year is upon us. As we begin the 2026–2027 school year, there is a great deal of excitement throughout the Forestville Central School District. The start of a new school year brings new opportunities for our students, new goals for our staff, and another opportunity for all of us to work together to make Forestville a wonderful place for children to learn and grow.

This summer was an especially busy one in our district as we continued work on our capital project. Many of the improvements that have been planned for our facilities are now becoming a reality. The high school parking lot has undergone significant improvements, and a number of electrical, heating, and cooling upgrades have been completed throughout the district.

A significant portion of this summer's work took place at the elementary school. In addition to heating and cooling improvements, the project included a new main entrance, a completely renovated cafeteria, and improvements to corridor walls and ceilings. We also completed renovations to the elementary school locker rooms. These improvements represent a substantial investment in our facilities and, most importantly, in the students and staff who use them every day.

The next phase of the capital project is scheduled to begin in late spring and will include renovations to the high school locker rooms and the development of a new fitness center. We will continue to keep the community informed as we move forward with this work.

We are also pleased to welcome several new members to the Forestville family this year. Each brings valuable experience, energy, and a commitment to our students. Please join me in welcoming:

While new faces and improvements to our facilities are important parts of the new school year, the heart of Forestville remains our students and the people who work with them each day. Our faculty and staff continue to demonstrate a firm commitment to providing our students with meaningful learning experiences, strong relationships, and the support they need to be successful.

I also want to express my appreciation to our families and community members. Your continued support of our schools is something we do not take for granted. Whether you are attending a school event, volunteering, supporting our students in the classroom or on the athletic field, or simply encouraging your child each day, your involvement makes a difference.

As we look ahead to the year, I encourage everyone in our school community to embrace the opportunities that come with a new beginning. There will certainly be challenges along the way, but I am confident that, working together, we will continue to move Forestville forward.
